A story can be the thing that changes everything. Maybe that's why Jesus always taught in parables.

  1. I had an interesting phone call today. As I was talking to one of the preschool moms, she said something interested, she told me that my faith shows and that she sees how important God is in my life. As I was listening to her speak, I was praying, I could feel my flesh and the pride start creeping in, I started to feel good about myself. That is when I realize that sanctification is a process that keeps going until I am with Him, and I am so thankful for that! As I was thinking about how much Jesus has changed my life, I can't forget how much growth and molding He must do in me. How a simple sentence or a praise can go straight to my head and I can quickly take all the credit for what my Lord has done for me and to me. I am thankful that my story is not over, that God still has much to write about, and that His Word will sharpen me and change me as I am in it everyday. Perhaps at the end of this dare, we can have have another story, of how Jesus has changed us through out these past few months.

  2. "I am thankful that my story is not over, that God still has much to write about..." Monica, I love this...and I am so thankful my story is not over yet either! I pray that Jesus doesn't stop working on me until the day I breathe my last, and that the minute the work stops that I would breathe my last. Life without Him is not worth living! Thanks for sharing!
